Mount Fansipan “The Roof of Indochina”
Views From Indochina’s Highest Peak
Going to bed at 7pm and getting up at 3am? Worth it.
There’s three ways you can summit Mount Fansipan, Indochina’s highest peak situated in Sapa, Veitnam. The easiest way is to spend a little money and take the cable car. Although I should emphasis the fact that I used the word easiest and not easy because you still need to climb 630 stairs when you reach the station. The second is to cram the hike up into one day and fight against the cable car riders for the views. The third option is what we opted for, spending one night on the mountain so that we could summit for sunrise and have the place to ourselves.
Our reward? This epic sunrise slowly illuminating the mountains all around and showing off the beautiful Vietnamese temples, statues and architecture. Let me show you the views.
